Four Eagles Land on Jersey Mike’s Naismith Trophy Midseason Team

Montverde, FL (January 17, 2025) – So far, so good!

While there is still plenty of basketball to be played this season, boys basketball team member CJ Ingram and girls basketball team members Aaliyah Crump, Saniyah Hall and Agot Makeer have obviously had great first halves this season.

The student-athletes were named to the Jersey Mike's Naismith Trophy Midseason Team for their respective genders after great starts this season.

On the boys' side, Ingram was listed because of his pivotal role in the Eagles 11-2 start to the season. Through the first 13 games of the season, the 6-6 guard is second on the team in scoring averaging 12.8 points per game, while leading the Eagles in rebounding at 7.8, steals with 2.0 per game and blocked shots at 0.9 per game. The University of Florida commit has three double-doubles this season and scored a season-high 22 points in a win against Oak Ridge at the City of Palms Classic last month.

On the girls' side, Crump made the team after helping the Eagles to a 13-1 start this season. She is leading the team in assists at 3.8 per game and steals at 1.4 per game. She is averaging 7.5 points, 3.5 rebounds and 1.4 steals per game. The 6-1 senior is committed to the University of Texas next season

Hall made the team after averaging a team-high 19.8 points per game and steals at 2.7 per game. She is also averaging 6.1 rebounds per game and 0.9 blocked shots per game. The junior was only one of six non-seniors to earn a spot on the midseason team.

Makeer has averaged 11.0 points, 6.4 rebounds, 3.1 assists and 1.0 blocks per game. The senior is still uncommitted at this time.

The Jersey Mike's Naismith High School Player of the Year Award will be issued to the most outstanding boys' and girls' basketball players in the nation after the high school basketball season.

The defending Chipotle High School Nationals champions return to the court on Friday. The boys will face Oak Hill Academy at 7:30 pm on day one of the Hoophall Classic in Springfield, Massachusetts, while the girls will host Bradley Central in The Nest at 4:00 pm.
