The Montverde Academy girls' soccer team has earned the No. 1 seed for the 2023 Florida High School Athletic Association (FHSAA) region two tournament, where the winner of the regional tournament will advance to the state semifinal on Friday, February 17th.

The Eagles will host the No. 8 seed Fort Meade High School in the quarterfinal round game on Tuesday, February 7th at 7:00 pm.

If they win, they will play the winner of the game between No. 4 seed The First Academy and No. 5 seed Berkeley Prep. That game would be played in Montverde on Friday, February 10th at 7:00 pm. 

The Eagles have a record of 10-2-2 and they are coming off a 6-0 win against Windermere Prep in the FHSAA district five championship.
