The Montverde Academy boys' golf team played to a 117-117 tie against Windermere Prep before the heavens opened forcing a rain shortened match at Mission Inn in Howey-In-The-Hills on Thursday afternoon.

Nutthachai Khamkhokgruad played six holes and scored a 24 (Even). Sam Kozisek, in eight holes, scored a 36 (+4), while Divan Eksteen scored a 40 (+8). Paxton Rivera, in six holes, scored a 33 (+9).

Christopher Wathington played five holes and scored a 33 (+12).

Montverde Academy is back in action on Wednesday, September 20 for a match against Eustis High School at 3:30 pm at the Black Bear Golf Club in Eustis.
