Sam Kozisek and Divan Eksteen both shot 36s (Even) to pace the boys' golf team as the Montverde Academy boys' golf team defeated East Ridge High School 154-188 at Legends Golf Course in Clermont on Thursday afternoon.

Behind Kozisek and Eksteen was Nutthachai Khamkhokgruad who shot a 38 (+2) and Paxton Rivera who shot a 44 (+8). Drew Glass scored a 45 (+9) over the nine hole course.

The Eagles are now 2-1 overall this season and return to action on Thursday, September 14 for a match against Windermere Prep at the Mission Inn Resort & Club at Howey-in-the-Hills, with tee time slated for 4:00 pm.
