The Montverde Academy girls' basketball team defeated Sidwell Friends 81-72 on day two of the 2024 Long Island Lutheran Invitational in Brookeville, New York on Saturday evening.

The win puts the Eagles at 21-3 overall on the season.

Eris Lester led the team with 21 points, followed by Jaloni Cambridge with 20 and Vivian Iwuchukwu with 16.

MVA is back in action on Thursday, February 22 for a game at DME Academy at 6:00 pm.
