The Montverde Academy boys golf team picked up its first win of the season by beating East Ridge High School 153-183 on Tuesday afternoon at Mission Inn Golf Course at Howey-in-the-Hills.

Divan Eksteen and Nick Kupper shot the lowest rounds by scoring 37 (+1) each. Meanwhile, Michael Frasure shot a 39 (+2), Sam Kozisek scored a 40 (+3) and  Aaron Koo had a 44 (+7), Charlie Wu shot a 46 (+9).

The Eagles are now 1-2 on the season and MVA is back in action  September 5th against Lake Minneola High School at Mission Inn Golf Course at 4:00 pm.
