Montverde Academy's girls basketball team dominated from start to finish in an 89-57 victory over Newman on Saturday night at home.
The Eagles controlled the pace early and never let up, leading by 47-27 at halftime.
Aaliyah Crump led the half going a perfect 4-for-4 from three and tallying 14 first-half points.
Saniyah Hall finished as the game's leading scorer with 21 points and five rebounds. Crump ended the night with 19 points, three assists and three steals.
Amaia Jackson distributed 11 assists along with 8 points, while teammate Jayla Forbes had a game-high 11 rebounds.
"We have played three games in three days, we just have to be ready to play, we didn't have fresh legs but I think we performed well," said Lourdes Da Silva Costa who had 12 points in the win.
