The Montverde Academy girls beach volleyball team defeated The First Academy 3-0 on Friday morning in the semifinal round of the FHSAA Class 1A Region 2 championship tournament in Montverde.

The Eagles, who are the No. 1 seed, will host the regional championship this Tuesday, May 6 at 10:00 am against No. 2 seed Orangewood Christian.
