The Montverde Academy girls volleyball team suffered a 0-3 (23-25, 19-25, 20-25) loss at home to Bishop Moore on Thursday evening.

The loss drops the Eagles to 2-2 overall this season.

Mirea Thederahn had a team-high nine kills in the match, while Bianca Baquerizo had eight. Nybia Rivera-Alvarez had a team-high 11 digs, while Isabella Parra had 17 assists, four digs and three service aces. Mya Tyson added three kills, three digs and three block assists.

*Earlier in the evening, the girls volleyball junior varsity team lost 0-2 (19-25, 22-25) to Bishop Moore. Lara Ponte had a match-high eight kills for the Eagles.

The Eagles return to the court on Tuesday for a match at home against McKeel Academy, starting with the junior varsity game at 5:30 pm, followed by the varsity game at 6:30 pm
