Montverde Academy girls' volleyball earned a four set win over McKeel Academy on Tuesday evening (25-18, 19-25, 25-13, 25-23) to improve to 3-2 overall on the season.
The Eagles were led by Bianca Baquerizo with a match-high 14 kills, while Mirea Thederahn had eight kills, nine digs and four service aces. Kristina Vargas added 19 assists, seven digs and three service aces, while Amelie Jenkins had 16 assists and four digs.
*Earlier in the evening, the junior varsity team defeated McKeel Academy 2-0 (25-19, 25-13). Gabrielle Moise had four kills in the win, while Ella Pompeo had three service aces.
The Eagles return to the court on Thursday for a match at Lake Minneola High School, starting with the junior varsity game at 5:00 pm, followed by the varsity game at 6:30 pm.
