Coach Aurora Davis is entering her third season with the Montverde Academy Volleyball program. She grew up in Groveland, FL, and started playing beach volleyball in her backyard in 6th grade. She graduated from South Lake High School in 2009 and participated in varsity volleyball, basketball, and track. She moved on to be an outside hitter for the State College of Florida in Bradenton where she earned NJCAA All-American Honorable Mention, Suncoast Conference Player of the Year and was #1 in the Conference for kills in 2011. She then went to Florida State University where she was captain of the beach volleyball team for all three years and played her senior year on the indoor team as a defensive specialist. At Florida State, she was a two-time AVCA All-American in beach volleyball and a two-time MVP of the team. She graduated in May 2014 and began playing on the AVP tour.

In her first AVP season, Coach Davis was awarded Defensive Player of the Year, Newcomer of the Year and CBS Sports Newcomer of Year. Coach Davis was on the USA U26 National Beach Team in 2014 and represented the USA in Portugal and South Korean tournaments. She is currently competing on the AVP and FIVB tours. Coach Davis and her partner Bree Scarbrough won a gold medal for Team USA in the Bangkok, China FIVB.

Coach Aurora Davis is married to Coach Josh Davis, and they proudly parent Kalohe Davis, who has been a part of the MVA Volleyball Family since she was an infant.
