A graduate of the University of Maryland, Coach Harper holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications.  During her tenure at the University of Maryland, Coach Harper earned a National Championship during the 2005-2006 season and earned Elite Eight achievement in the 2007-2008 and 2008-2009 seasons. 

Coach Harper was a Naismith Award Pre-Season Candidate, Naismith Award Finalist, NCAA Final Four Most Outstanding Player, and an ACC Legends Class Inductee.  Following a very successful career at UMD, Coach Harper was the No.10 overall draft pick and embarked on a professional career in the WNBA with the Sacramento Monarchs. 

Following her professional career, Coach Harper embarked on a successful coaching career where she served as an assistant Coach at Loyola University of Maryland, High Point University, George Washington University most recently at the University of Florida.
