Montverde Academy Athletics

Abner Ham joined the Montverde Academy girls basketball coaching staff in 2025 as an assistant coach. A Fort Lauderdale, Florida native, Coach Ham is beginning his first year with the program and brings both passion for the game and a strong commitment to player development.

A graduate of the University of Central Florida, Ham earned his degree in Psychology. His mentors, Head Coach Anthony Jones and Coach Tyrone Scott, played a pivotal role in shaping his coaching journey, giving him an early opportunity in the profession and guiding him not only in basketball but also in life. Ham credits his success to their mentorship and continues to carry their influence into his own coaching philosophy.

Off the court, Ham enjoys traveling and has a love for comedy. He currently resides in Orlando, Florida.
