Montverde Academy Athletics

Lea Campopiano has been with Montverde Academy as an athletic trainer since August of 2022.

Though she is in her first year with the Eagles, she is no stranger to MVA as Campopiano served as an intern with the MVA athletics department in fall of 2019.

Campopiano earned her bachelor's degree in athletic training in 2020 from the University of Central Florida.where she also served as a member of the Student Athletic Training Organization and  Vice President of the Iota Tau Alpha Honor Society and was a student athletic training intern with the UCF football, woman’s track and softball teams as well as a local high school. 

Outside of MVA, Campopiano serves as a part of the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society in honor of her grandma who passed away from Leukemia. She plans to run the Chicago Marathon on behalf of the foundation. In Campopiano’s free time, she enjoys running, baking sourdough bread, and doing content creation. 

She was born and raised in Florida, and lives with her husband Jacob and daughter Francesca.
