Ryan Salzberg has been a staff coach with the Center for Basketball Development at Montverde Academy since 2025. A recent graduate of Daemen University, Salzberg earned his bachelor’s degree in Business Administration in 2024 and his Master's in Business Administration (MBA) in 2025.
As a student-athlete, Salzberg had a decorated four-year career as the starting point guard for Daemen University, an NCAA Division II basketball program, from 2019–2025.
He helped lead the Wildcats to the 2020–21 NCAA Regional Championship and was part of the 2024–25 team that won the East Coast Conference (ECC) championship. That same season, Daemen was ranked No. 1 in the nation for four weeks.
Individually, Salzberg was honored with the 2024–25 ECC John Smillie Jr. Award, an award given to a student-athlete or student-athletes who have overcome personal or physical challenges and hardships to pursue their intercollegiate athletic careers.
A native of Syracuse, New York, Salzberg enjoys watching sports, spending time with friends and family, and going out to eat.
