In the land where dreams come true, eighth-grade Ian Davis made his dream a reality by winning the Boy's Division at the Disney Classic located at Walt Disney World's Palm Golf Course on Sunday, November 12.

"Over the course of this year, Ian has worked very hard to change the manner in which he approached his development," said coach Zach Parker. "He has a long term vision for his game and is willing to put in the daily effort required to make his dreams a reality."

Davis excelled on the par fours playing most of them in three-under throughout the event. He had rounds of 68 and 73 for a three-under 141 finish and was the only player to complete the 36-hole event under par.

For Davis' first year at Bishop's Gate Golf Academy, he's managed to add to his impressive athletic resume in a short period of time. At the start of the semester, Ian played three events and has performed outstandingly well in all of them. At the Florida Junior Tour event in Ocala, Davis finished in the top 15 shooting 73/75. Then, he won the hurricane junior tour event at Eagle Creek with scores of 71/72. His last event was this past weekend at the Disney Classic and well, the rest is history!

At just the young age of 14, BGGA's future is looking bright with the help of Davis' dedication and passion for the game.
