Its been an  incredible week for the Montverde Academy basketball program, as five former student-athletes have been recognized by their NCAA Division I conferences.

Cade Cunningham has been named the Big 12 Player of the Year, while also being named to the final 15 in consideration for the 2020-21 John R. Wooden Award.

Scottie Barnes also had quite the freshman season, earning ACC Freshman of the Year, Sixth Man of the Year,  All-ACC Third Team, and ACC All-Freshman Team honors.

Also from last year's National Championship winning side, Moses Moody found himself winning SEC Freshman of the Year and Day'Ron Sharpe was named to the ACC Freshman Team. 

Also recognized was Andrew Nembhard ('18), who took home 6th Man of the Year honors for the WCC, as well as being named to the All-WCC Second Team.
