The Montverde Academy girls' basketball defeated Duncanville High School 58-40 in day one of the Inside Exposure Thanksgiving Classic in Jacksonville on Monday afternoon.

Sahnya Jah had a double-double of 14 points and 11 rebounds, Lety Vasconcelos had a team-high 13 rebounds and Mjracle Sheppard had 8 steals.

Eagles are now 4-0 on the season and return to action on Tuesday for day two against 1 of 1 Academy at 2:15 pm.
