Montverde, Fla.— The Montverde Academy boy's lacrosse team defeated Windermere Prep 20-2 in a Citrus League showdown on Thursday night at the Athletic Complex.
With the win, the Eagles are now 7-2 overall and 4-0 in Citrus League play.
Jack Green, Seth Isenhour and Drew Glass led the way with three goals each in the win. Green also added four assists for the Eagles.
Troy Scott and Max Smith had five groundballs each. Goalkeepers, Eddie Roth and Shafer Bergman split the time in net and made two saves each.
Montverde Academy is back in action on Monday for a game against Gilman School of Maryland. The game is being played at IMG Academy and is scheduled for a 3:30 pm faceoff.
