The Montverde Academy boys' lacrosse team earned a hard fought win over Bolles High School 4-3 at the MVA Athletic Complex on Tuesday evening.
Aaron Williams scored two goals, while the other two were scored by Coen Woodland and Josh Briggs. Spencer Odier and Seth Isenhour had assists.
The Eagles scored a goal in the first quarter and another in the second and led 2-0 at halftime. Both teams scored a goal each in the third quarter to make the score 3-1 after three periods. Montverde Academy took a 4-1 lead with 5:13 remaining, before two late goals by Bolles cut the lead to one, but too late.
Zach Hobson had seven ground balls, while Tommy Barrows had six. Overall, the Eagles had 29 ground balls.
Eddie Roth made 10 saves for MVA.
