Softball Falls at Eustis, Loses 3-0

The Montverde Academy softball team lost 3-0 at Eustis High School on Tuesday evening.

The loss ends the Eagles' three game winning streak and drops Montverde Academy to 13-4 overall this season.

Eustis scored a run in the bottom of the first to take a 1-0 lead, then scored two more runs in the bottom of the fifth to go ahead 3-0 en route to the win.

The Eagles had four hits in the contest, including one each by Skai Albury, Makayla Navarro, Colby Reish and Leila Susaia.

Nevaeh Williams suffered her first loss of the season, but still pitched well, as all three of her runs allowed were unearned and she struck out seven.
