The Montverde Academy girls' basketball team closed out the 2023 calendar year with another win as the Eagles defeated Clarksville Christian 78-42 on day two of the 2023 Music City Hoopfest in Nashville, Tennessee on Saturday.

Jaloni Cambridge led all scorers with a season-high 36 points, while Holland Harris had 15 in the win.

Montverde Academy is now 11-1 overall this season, and the Eagles play next on Friday, January 5 for a game against Somerset Prep in day one of the 2024 Stars Under the Sun Classic in Davie, Florida with tip-off scheduled for 7:10 pm.
