Coen Woodland ripped a team-high seven goals as the Montverde Academy boys' lacrosse team earned 16-5 win at Trinity Prep on Tuesday evening.

The Eagles, now 1-0 this season, also had three goals each by Drew Glass and Seth Isenhour.

Jake Willis helped with team-highs of four assists and four groundballs, while Isenhour had three assists.

Goalkeeper Andrew Chehansky made six saves in the win.

MVA is back in action on Friday for its home opener on Friday against Lake Howell High School at 7:00 pm.
