The Montverde Academy boys' basketball went 3-0 over the weekend at the Metro Classic in Union, New Jersey. On Thursday, they defeated La Lumiere 62-45. Then on Friday, in a rematch of the last season's GEICO High School Nationals championship, the Eagles defeated Link Academy 84-58. On Saturday, MVA finished off the undefeated weekend with an 84-62 victory over Roselle Catholic.

MVA is now 22-2 on the season and will wrap up their 2022-23 regular season at NIBC foe IMG Academy on Friday at 8:00 pm before awaiting their anticipated bid into the 2023 GEICO High School Nationals for a chance to defend their title!
