Montverde, Fla. (April 13, 2026) – MaxPreps, the leading online platform for high school sports coverage in America, has named Dhani Miller amongst its MaxPreps All-American Honorable Mentions for the 2025-26 boys basketball season.
A senior guard, Miller led the Eagles in scoring this season, averaging 16.5 points per game while also ranking second on the team in rebounds (6.2), assists (3.7), and steals (1.5) per game. His all-around production and consistency made him one of the most impactful players on the floor against elite national competition, which saw MVA go 23-7, win the Nike EYBL Scholastic Eastern Division regular season championship, appear in the Chipotle High School National Championship game for the eleventh time in program history and earn a No. 2 national ranking by the end of 2025-26 basketball season.
The honor is the latest award that has come Miller's way. Miller earned Nike EYBL Scholastic First Team All-Conference honors last month and was named to the Chipotle High School National Championship All-Tournament Team earlier this month, further solidifying his place among the top high school players in the country.
Miller's journey at Montverde Academy is a testament to his growth and dedication. A member of the program since his freshman year, he developed into a key contributor and leader, embracing the standard of excellence that defines MVA basketball. His ability to perform in big moments, combined with his leadership and versatility, made him an integral part of the team's success throughout the season.
"Under-the-radar senior prospect averaged 15.8 points, 6.2 rebounds and 3.8 assists per game to guide the Eagles (23-7) to the No. 2 spot in the final National Top 10 after a run to the Chipotle Nationals title game," said Jordan Divens of MaxPreps.
Miller is committed to play collegiately at Kent State University in Kent, Ohio, where he expects to be a major contributor to the Golden Flashes men's basketball program.
