The Montverde Academy girls' golf team suffered its first loss of the season as the Eagles were defeated by Windermere Prep 144-160 at Bella Collina on Tuesday afternoon.

Michelle Jing Su led the way for Montverde Academy, shooting a 37 (+1), followed by reigning Student-Athlete of the Week, Victoria Renzi who shot a 39 (+3). Gurbaine Star scored a 42 (+6), so too did Romina Salazar.

Delaney Dorsey scored a 47 (+11) as a non-scoring competitor.

Montverde Academy returns to the links on Thursday for a match against South Lake High School at Mission Inn in Howey-in-the-Hills at 4:00 pm.
