Bailey Hollis had a well-rounded game of six kills, four blocks, 13 digs and seven assists, but the Eagles could not get over the hump as the Montverde Academy girls' volleyball team lost to Bishop Moore 0-3 (14-25, 21-25, 24-26) at the Nest on Thursday evening.
In addition to Hollis, senior Paola De Chavarria Munoz had a solid match with a team-high eight kills, four aces, six digs and eight assists. Fellow teammate Catherine Emilcar added two kills and a match-high seven total blocks. Evy DeClercq added four kills, two aces, three blocks and three digs.
Montverde Academy is now 5-7 overall this season.
MVA is back in action on Tuesday, September 26 for a home match against Trinity Prep at 6:00 pm.
