The Montverde Academy girls' volleyball team lost 3-0 (17-25, 17-25, 19-25) at Lake Minneola High School on Wednesday evening.

Paola De Chavarria Munoz led the way for the Eagles with nine kills and nine digs, while Bailey Hollis had five kills and two blocks. Giavanna Parker had three kills and 10 digs, while Suhmer Henriques had six blocks. Isabela Ferreira had two service aces, two blocks, 10 digs and nine assists.

The Eagles are back in action on Tuesday, October 3 for a Citrus League match against Windermere Prep at the Nest at 6:00 pm.
