Competing for the first time since the passing of Hurricane Milton, the Montverde Academy girls golf won its final match of the regular season, beating East Ridge High School 151-184 at Mission Inn on Tuesday afternoon.

Chanelle Mwangi finished with the lowest score of all Eagles, with a score of 37 (+2). Cynthia Yang, Zurich Kanokpornvasin, and Angela Liu all completed the match with a score of 38 (+3). In addition to that, Maria Luiza Soares had a score of 40 (+5), and Gurbanie Star had a score of 41 (+6).

The Montverde Academy girls golf team will be heading to the FHSAA District Championship on October 29th. Tee time is set for 1:00 pm.
