In its final tune-up before the start of the regular season, the Montverde Academy girls basketball team defeated Wekiva High School 78-18 in a pre-season game at the Nest on Friday evening.

Saniyah Hall had 17 points in the win, while Missy Odom had 14.

MVA's regular season opens next Friday, November 22nd at the Journey to the Tourney in Cincinnati, Ohio where the Eagles will play Purcell Marian at 7:00 pm.
