The 2024-25 Montverde Academy girls soccer team ended the 2024 portion of its schedule with a win as the Eagles beat Lake Highland Prep 2-1 in Orlando on Friday evening.

The win improves the Eagles to 12-0-0 on the season.

Isabella Igua and Joy Palacios had a goal each in the first half to put MVA ahead 2-0 at halftime

Lake Highland Prep's second half goal marked the first time in eight games that an opponent scored a goal against the Eagles.

MVA returns to action in 2025 when the Eagles host Sickles High School on January 8 at 7:00 pm.
