The defending Florida High School Athletic Association (FHSAA) state champion softball team's schedule for the 2025 season has been released.

The Montverde Academy softball team will play a slate of games against highly skilled teams all throughout the state of Florida.

The Eagles will play twenty-three tough regular season games between February 19 and April 23 before competing in the FHSAA playoffs from late April though late May.

The regular season starts on February 19 at home against Lake Mary High School and concludes at home against Lecanto High School on April 23. 

The FHSAA playoffs start with the district playoffs as early as April 28, followed by the regional playoffs May 7, 13 and 15. The state championship semifinal and final rounds will be played between May 20 and May 24 at Legends Way Softball Complex in nearby Clermont.

The Eagles won the state championship last season and went 28-4 overall.

With a plethora of talented players back from last season's championship team, along with an abundance of highly skilled newcomers, it is shaping up to be another stellar season for the softball program.
