The Montverde Academy boys' lacrosse team lost for the first time this season as the Eagles were defeated by Bishop Moore High School 8-5 in Orlando on Friday evening.

MVA is now 1-1 on the season.

Mason Eldridge led the Eagles with two goals, while Drew Glass and Camden Fisher had one goal and one assist each. Brayden Long also had a goal in the contest, while Blake Kuhn had an assist.

MVA is back in action on Monday for a home game against Forest High School at 5:00 pm.
