The Montverde Academy girls' basketball team lost a close one at DME Academy losing 65-62 on Thursday evening.

Vivian Iwuchukwu led the Eagles with 19 points, followed by Lourdes Da Silva Costa with 14. Eris Lester had 13 points in the loss.

MVA will wrap up its 2023-24 regular season on Saturday, Ffebruary 24 for a home game against Central Pointe Christian Academy at 6:00 pm. The game will also be senior night for roster members  Jaloni Cambridge, Vivian Iwuchukwu, Eris Lester, Giana Provenzano, Chloe Sotell and Paige Sweeting.
