Montverde Academy boys lacrosse cruised to an easy 18-1 win over Foundation Academy in the quarterfinal round of the FHSAA Class 1A District 5 tournament at Dan Newlin Injury Attorney Stadium on Wednesday evening.

Drew Glass netted six goals and had two assists, while Mason Eldridge scored four goals and had two assists. Aaron Bell added two goals and had two assists. Alex Juhnke scored twice, while Blake Kuhn scored once and had four five assists. Tyler McTaggart scored once and had two assists. Tanner Moore added a goal and two assists. Zander Brasher also scored a goal.

Sam Juhnke started in net and made two saves, while Andrew Chehansky stopped four of five shots in the second half.

The Eagles will now play at Bishop Moore in the semifinal round on Friday with the opening faceoff at 7:00 pm.
