The Montverde Academy girls beach volleyball won the Citrus League Championship on Tuesday afternoon at the Montverde Academy Beach Volleyball Complex.

On a picture perfect afternoon, the top seeded Eagles defeated No. 4 seed Lake Highland Prep 3-0 in the semifinal round before pulling out a close 3-2 win over No. 2 seed The First Academy in the championship match.

MVA is now 13-2 overall on the year and will play next in the Florida High School Athletic Association (FHSAA) district playoffs next week.
