The Montverde Academy boys' lacrosse team lost 4-2 to St. Edwards on Wednesday evening in the quarterfinal round of the 2024 Florida High School Athletic Association (FHSAA) Region 2 tournament at Dan Newlin Injury Attorney Stadium.

Blake Kuhn,who scored a goal in the first quarter. and Tyler McTaggart, who scored a goal in the third quarter, were the Eagles lone goal scorers. Drew Glass got an assist on both goals.

Goalkeeper Sam Juhnke made 10 saves to help keep the score low. Zander Brasher won four faceoffs. As a team the Eagles picked up a total of 23 ground balls, led by Brasher and Juhnke with three each.

With the loss the Eagles' season has come to an end, and MVA finishes the season with a 10-6 overall record.
