Montverde Academy's girls golf team played brilliantly, scoring par, but Winderemere Prep's four under proved too much as the Eagles lost 140-144 to Windermere Prep on Tuesday afternoon at Orange County National in Winter Garden.

Grace Xu and Michelle Su led the team with impressive rounds of 35 (-1) each, while Angela Liu and Jenny Lee followed close behind, each finishing with 37 (+1). Jun Xi Guo posted a solid 39 (+3), and Maria Luiza Soares rounded out the team with a 41 (+5).

The Eagles now hold a 2-2 record for the season and will compete again on Wednesday in a Tri-Match with Windermere Prep and The First Academy at Orange Tree Golf Course in Orlando, FL.
