Montverde Academy is excited to inform you that alum Francisco Lindor '11 has been nominated by the New York Mets for Major League Baseball's Roberto Clemente Award.

The Roberto Clemente Award is bestowed annually to the player who best represents the game of baseball through extraordinary character, community involvement, philanthropy, and positive contributions, both on and off the field.

Montverde Academy has been a direct benefactor of his contributions, including helping fund and develop Lindor Hall, which is home to our Middle School students, and being the lead donor for the Francisco Lindor Scholarship Fund that offers financial assistance to students who otherwise could not attend Montverde Academy.
