The Montverde Academy boys basketball team cruised to a 80-51 wire to wire win against Legacy Early College on Friday evening on day one of the LaPorte Invitational in La Porte, Indiana.

Trent Sisley led the way for MVA notching a double-double with 16 points and 11 rebounds. CJ Ingram added 15 points and six rebounds of his own. Other scorers for the Eagles include King Gibson and Dhani Miller with 12 points each, Hudson Greer added 10 points and Dante Allen had eight.

Montverde Academy led Legacy Early College in points in the paint, holding a 38-22 advantage. The Eagles also held a rebounding edge over the opposition 40-32.

The Eagles also shot 53 percent from the field (31-for-58), including a 46 percent clip from behind the three point line (11-for-24).

MVA is back in action Saturday afternoon at 3:45 PM against CIA Bella Vista.
