The Montverde Academy girls golf team earned a strong 145-150 victory over Lake Mary Prep on Thursday afternoon at Mission Inn in Howey-in-the-Hills.

Leading the way for the Eagles was Cynthia Yang, who fired a 33 (-2). Bonnie Wu followed with a 36 (+1), Cassy Zhu carded a 37 (+2), and Gurbanie Star posted a 39 (+4).

With the win, Montverde improves to 3-2 in dual meets this season. The Eagles return to action on Thursday, October 23, for an 18-hole match against Windermere Prep at Mission Inn. Tee time is set for 1:30 p.m.
