The Montverde Academy girls soccer team suffered its first loss of the season on Saturday afternoon, falling 3-1 at St. Thomas Aquinas in Fort Lauderdale.

The Eagles, now 11-1-1 on the year. MVA got their lone goal from Vienna Morgan, with the assist credited to Caroline Ritchey. Goalkeeper Alyssa Strausbaugh recorded two saves in the match.

Montverde Academy will look to bounce back on Monday, January 5, 2026, when the Eagles return home for their next contest against Sickles High School at 1:00 p.m.
