The Montverde Academy girls soccer team continued its unbeaten start to the season with a dominant 3-0 road victory over Auburndale High School on Tuesday night.

Lola Rey led the Eagles' offensive attack with two goals, while Brianna Burkhalter added a goal and an assist to help power Montverde Academy to its eighth win of the season. Vienna Morgan also contributed to the scoring effort with an assist in the shutout victory.

Defensively, the Eagles remained strong from start to finish. Goalkeeper Alyssa Strausbaugh needed to make just one save to secure the clean sheet as the Eagles limited Auburndale's scoring chances throughout the match.

Earlier in the day, the Montverde Academy junior varsity team picked up a 5-0 victory, improving its record to 1-0-2 on the season.

Montverde Academy (8-0-1) returns to action on Wednesday with a road matchup at Sunlake High School. The junior varsity game is scheduled for 5:30 p.m., followed by the varsity contest at 7:00 p.m.
