Montverde Academy  boys' lacrosse team earned a 12-2 win over Lake Brantley High School on campus Tuesday evening.

Mason Eldridge led the Eagles with five goals, while Tanner Moore added to the win with four goals and one assist. Blake Kuhn had added two goals and offered four assists in the win for the Eagles who are now 2-0 on the young season. Kuhn and teammate Evan Flanagan also had a team co-high five groundballs for the Eagles.

Brayden Long was perfect on faceoffs winning all seven battles has had in the circle.

Montverde started off strong and led 5-1 by halftime, and the Eagles never trailed.

Starting goalkeeper Sam Juhnke dominated in net, stopping eight of the 10 shots he faced.

MVA will play its first away contest of the season with a game at Winter Park High School on Friday at 7:00 pm.
