Montverde Academy girls varsity basketball team won against Central Pointe (Blue) 77-30 with Saniyah Hall 22 points leading the way Thursday night at Montverde Academy.

Hall's 22 was followed up by her teammate Aliyah Crump with 20 points to propel Montverde Academy to its twenty-second win of the season.

"In the second half we picked it up, it was pretty good overall. We were able to beat the team pretty well," Hall said.

Montverde Academy had a 26-13 lead by the end of the first quarter and the Eagles were up 43-19 by halftime. By the end of the third quarter, MVA was up 68-35, leading to a running clock fourth quarter.

"It feels good to being able to lead my team the victory although everyone got in the score book so I felt like everybody contributed and everybody did a good job," Hall added.

Montverde Academy's next game is against Central Point (Nacional) on Saturday at 7:00 pm.
