Montverde Academy boys basketball lost by one to Link Academy on Friday, falling 40-39 in Oakland.

The Eagles are now 18-5 this season.

CJ Ingram scored a team-high 14 points, while Hudson Greer scored 11. 

The game had 10 lead changes and 11 ties with neither team leading by more than seven points.

Link Academy held a sizable 16-3 advantage on second chance points.

MVA returns to the court on Friday February 21 for a game against La Lumiere in day one of the IMG Event in Bradenton at 7:30 pm.
