After trailing by double digits at halftime, the Montverde Academy girls basketball team outscored the opponent 50-9 in the second half to cruise to a 67-38 win over The Academy of Central Florida on Saturday evening.

MVA used a 25-3 third quarter spurt to take the lead before putting the game away with a 25-6 fourth quarter.

The Eagles are now 24-1 overall this season.

Aaliyah Crump had a team-high 18 points in the win, while Holland Harris scored 15. Saniyah Hall added 14 for the Eagles who have one final regular season game on Tuesday against DME Academy.
