McDonald's All-Americans Receive Their Commemorative Jerseys

Montverde, FL (February 27, 2025) -- Montverde Academy celebrated a significant milestone in its girls' basketball program during assembly on Wednesday as McDonald's All-American selections Aaliyah Crump and Agot Maker received their commemorative McDonald's All-American jerseys. The two standouts became the third and fourth players in Montverde girls' basketball history to receive this prestigious honor, joining girls' basketball alumni Janiah Barker (2022) and Jaloni Cambridge (2024).

Alan Rhine of Rhine Enterprises, LLC and owner of several McDonald's locations around Central Florida Crump was on hand to personally deliver the jerseys marking a proud moment for the recipients, their coaches, teachers, teammates and classmates..

"It is an honor and very exciting to be a part of the group of McDonald's All-Americans that have come out of Montverde," Makeer said.

The McDonald's All-American game is one of the most prestigious showcases in American high school basketball, featuring the nation's top senior basketball players. Crump and Makeer are two of just 24 girls' high school basketball players across the country to earn those coveted roster spots. The two will compete in the McDonald's All-American all-star game against and alongside the best girls' high school basketball players in America on April 1 at the Barclay's Center in Brooklyn, New York.

"I'm most looking forward to playing with the best players in the country and really enjoying this experience," said Crump.
