The Montverde Academy boys basketball team saw its season come to an end in the first round of the 2025 Chipotle Nationals, falling to Dynamic Prep 67-52 on Thursday evening.

Dynamic Prep controlled the game from start to finish, never trailing as Montverde Academy struggled to find its rhythm offensively.

Dante Allen led the Eagles with 16 points, hitting two three-pointers and going a perfect 4-for-4 from the free-throw line. Hudson Greer added 13 points, while CJ Ingram contributed 10 points and a team-high six rebounds.

MVA fought hard on the defensive end, forcing 14 turnovers and collecting seven steals, but the team was unable to capitalize offensively, shooting just 27.3% from the field (18-of-66) and 20.0% from beyond the three point line (7-of-35).

The Eagles kept the game within reach through three quarters, trailing 45-36 heading into the final period, but Dynamic Prep pulled away late with a strong fourth quarter, outscoring Montverde Academy 22-16.

MVA's season ends with a 19-8 overall record.
