The Montverde Academy boys lacrosse team suffered its first loss of the 2026 season on Tuesday evening, dropping a 10-6 decision on the road at Lake Brantley High School.
Montverde Academy moves to 1-1 on the young season after the setback. The Eagles were led offensively by Nate Kuhn, who recorded a hat trick with three goals. Tanner Moore added two goals, while Evan Flanagan accounted for the remaining goal.
Blake Kuhn paced the playmaking effort with three assists, and Flanagan added one assist to go along with a strong all-around performance. Flanagan led the team with seven ground balls, followed by Nate Diaz with four and Oliver Anderson with three.
At the faceoff X, Moore won six of eight draws, while Flanagan won four of seven. In goal, Angelo Ranaldi turned in a solid effort, making 11 saves.
The Eagles will look to bounce back on Friday, February 13, when they return home to host Winter Park. Faceoff is scheduled for 7:00 p.m.
